LG-Ericsson Receives “2011 Frost & Sullivan Korea Excellence Award”

July 14, 2011-LG-Ericsson, a leading provider of telecommunication and enterprise equipment, announced today that it has received the prestigious 2011 Frost & Sullivan Korea Excellence Award.

In the award ceremony held at COEX Intercontinental Hotel Seoul on July 14, LG-Ericsson was named as the “Enterprise Telephony Vendor of the Year”. The Frost & Sullivan Best Practice Awards recognize companies in a variety of regional and global markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer services, and strategic product development.

Frost & Sullivan presented 17 awards at the 2011 Frost & Sullivan Korea Excellence Awards in 9 categories including Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Automation & Electronics, Environment, Energy, Healthcare and Information & Communication Technologies.

LG-Ericsson is strengthening its position in the enterprise market for iPECS series, a convergence solution for both voice and data communication of all sizes. Especially in the voice area, LG-Ericsson has deployed and operated small- and mid-sized iPECS-MG/ LIK and large-sized iPECS-CM solutions in the market including the finance sector, hospitals, hotels and companies, demonstrating the superb quality.
