LG-Ericsson becomes Ericsson-LG

  • This corporate name change is to leverage Ericsson’s global brand assets
  • LG brand and business portfolio maintains as key ingredients

September 1, 2012 – LG-Ericsson, which was launched as a joint venture between Ericsson and LG Electronics two years ago, is now re-branding the corporate name to Ericsson-LG, effective September 1, 2012.

With the new name, Ericsson-LG can now take advantage of the full range of Ericsson’s branding assets. The company will leverage the uniformed look and feel of a world-class brand identity, such as Ericsson capital font/typefaces, icons, colors, images and global campaign materials.

Ericsson-LG will maintain the existing business portfolio, while moving toward solutions and services focused approach with the key assets like technology and service leadership.
